How to Get the xcom App
We distribute the xcom app through three paths: direct Android APK download, iOS via Safari browser, and our responsive web app. Each path is equally secure and syncs to the same account. Choose the method that works best for your device.

App vs. Browser: Which Should You Use?

Troubleshooting Installation Issues
If you encounter problems installing the xcom app, the most common issue is that your device blocks installation from unknown sources. On Android, go to Settings > Security and enable "Unknown Sources" or "Install from Unknown Sources". On iOS, if you see a certificate warning, tap "Trust" to proceed. If the APK download fails, check your internet connection and try again. If the app crashes after installation, clear your app cache or reinstall. Data, Permissions, and Account Security
The xcom app requests permission to access your device's internet connection, storage (for caching game data), and notifications. We do not access your contacts, photos, or location.
